Yvonne Adele and Ms Megabyte are truly multi-media personalities, with careers spanning print, television, radio and the internet.

Popularly known for her TV appearances as Ms Megabyte on shows such as Channel 9’s Today Show, and Channel 10’s The Panel, her mission is to take the hard out of hardware, the science out of software and make everyday computer users techno-savvy.

It all started after Yvonne completed many years working with Microsoft in Australia and the UK. Following on from this, she established her own consultancy business, advising high profile corporations and personal users on how to get the most from their technology investment. Yvonne was then drawn to the world of Television, realising she could use it to get the message across to a wider audience.

Her ability to make computing easy and, above all, entertaining lead to the birth of the Ms Megabyte character. Since the mid 90s, MS Megabyte has shared her everyday computing tips and hints and helped thousands of Australians integrate technology into their work and home lives and is now a household name. Ms Megabyte has written for various publications including the Australian Women’s Weekly, Woman’s Day, Practical Parenting, MX and the Big Issue. In addition to the Today Show, Mega has also appeared regularly on Kerri-Anne’s Midday Show and on Bert Newton’s GMA, Channel 9’s dot.com.tv and Channel Ten’s The Panel.

Mid 2003 saw the release of a best-selling book (Conquer your Computer) to complement the popular website (getmega.com), many guest appearances on television and radio as well as a full calendar of public speaking engagements.

In 2002, Yvonne completed a successful stint hosting her own talkback show on Melbourne commercial radio which expanded her media personality outside the Ms Megabyte character. Yvonne’s topics ranged from etiquette to Food and Family Psychology to Computing with, of course, Ms Megabyte!

Yvonne Adele is that rarest of creatures – an entertaining and engaging presenter, who brings life to any subject. More than just a gifted speaker and performer, MS Megabyte’s exuberant, extroverted personality also makes her the perfect drawcard or MC at launches, IT conferences, exhibitions and multimedia events.
