20-year-old Jaime, from Barcelona, became the youngest driver in F1 history when he took part in the 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix and has always had a passion for poker and will be taking part in exclusive tournaments and promotions at from immediate effect.

“Some say that I am a novice in F1 and I would say the same about poker. I have loved the game from afar but with all my driving commitments, I have a lot to learn. I recently got my first points in F1 and am now about to secure my first PartyPoints at,” said Jaime. “The popularity of poker in Spain is on the rise and I cannot wait to be part of it and improve my skills at the table by playing online. Poker is so popular amongst the F1 drivers at the moment, by becoming an ambassador for I aim to be the best of them all!”

As well as taking part in exclusive tournaments online at there will also be the chance for customers to meet the young motor racing ace through specific promotions in the coming months. One will offer tickets to the Valencia Grand Prix on June 27th and the chance to meet Jaime, while the F1 ace will take part in the prestigious WPT Barcelona which runs from May 17th-23rd at Casino Barcelona.

As well as being the youngest F1 driver in history and the first driver in the elite sport to be born in the 1990’s, Jaime also has a passion for being a DJ, showing he can spin a track as well as drive on one.

“I doubt Lady Gaga’s ‘PokerFace’ is in my DJ set but I love poker as much as I do my music. I am planning on getting a new poker themed tattoo and hope the players at can help me choose it!” said Jaime.

Italian F1 ace Giancarlo Fisichella was the first to welcome Jaime into Team “If Jaime has a natural flair for poker like he does for driving, he can come and join the poker elite in F1. I am not going to go into too much detail but several of my mates are good players: Kubica, Alonso, Liuzzi, Heidfeld, Glock and Rosberg are the ones I would pick out. They all love it! About Jaime Alguersuari

Jaime Alguersuari was born on March 23rd 1990 in Barcelona and became the youngest driver in F1 history and the first driver to be born in the 1990’s when he took part in the 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix. Alguersuari began his racing career in 2005. In 2006, he won the Italian Formula Renault Winter Series, before finishing as runner-up in 2007. Jaime moved up to the British Formula Three Championship in 2008 and won the final three races of the season to clinch the championship, becoming the youngest title winner in championship history, aged 18 years and 203 days. He also deputised for Mark Webber in the 2008 Race of Champions event at the Wembley Stadium in December 2008. He competed in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series in 2009. At the time of his move to Formula One mid-season, he lay eighth in the championship with one podium finish, and was the second-highest rookie driver in the standings. Despite his promotion to an F1 race seat, he carried on in FR3.5. A week after his Formula One debut, Alguersuari returned to the series at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, and scored both his first pole and his first victory in the series. Alguersuari took over the role of reserve driver for the Red Bull Racing and Scuderia Toro Rosso Formula One teams in the second half of the 2009 Formula One season. Less than two weeks later, race driver Sébastien Bourdais left the Toro Rosso team after the 2009 German Grand Prix and it was announced that Alguersuari would drive for the team at the 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix. He became the youngest ever Formula One driver at the age of 19 years and 125 days, breaking the record previously held by Mike Thackwell. Toro Rosso retained Alguersuari for the 2010 season, starting with a career-best finishes of thirteenth in Bahrain and eleventh in Australia. In Malaysia one week later, Alguersuari scored his first ever Formula 1 points with a ninth-placed finish. Toro Rosso team principal Franz Tost praised Alguersuari's performance, saying the Spaniard "drove a fantastic race." In the most recent Grand Prix in China, Jaime finished 13th.
